Hidden Mill was built in 1796 in the era of Adam style colonial homes. This typical farmhouse on the East End of Long Island was a simple box two rooms deep with windows arranged symmetrically. The front door has a rectangular transom over the door surrounded by sidelights. The house has clapboard siding and operable shutters.
